Non-apprentices have no restrictions on the number of times they can attempt an AAT exam.
Apprentices who are 16-19 years old, study full time and are taking either the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, or Level 3 Diploma in Accounting are subject to the resit rule, where they can only attempt each assessment twice within 24 months.
